Xiaomi Redmi K20, K20 Pro will now be available in India through Flipkart

Xiaomi confirmed on 5th July, 2019 that it will be launching Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, the most anticipated phones on 17th July,2019 in India through Flipkart. The phone was already launched in China in May this year. A teaser that hint the availability of soon to be launched phone is running on the famous e-commerce website: Flipkart. The teasers demonstrate that Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will be exclusively available on the website in India. The website is teasing a few features of the phone as well.

The phone’s specifications probably would be same of that was launched in china before. The phone features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel with an aspect ratio of 19:9, along with screen to body ratio of 91 percent with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Redmi K20 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, while K20 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.

The camera specifications include an AI- powered triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel secondary shooter for wide angle picture and 8-megapixel third shooter (a telephoto lens), along with a 20-megapixel pop up front camera, which can rise in 0.8 seconds. The phone sports connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, USB Type C port, GPS, dual nano sim, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and VoLTE. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 pro are backed with 4000mAh battery back-up with a support of priority fast charging.

Xiaomi has still not announced the price of both the phones. But it expected that the price will be near to that is in China. The Redmi K20 will be of Rs. 20,190 approx. which is said to be among the affordable phones available in India with these specifications. Whereas Redmi K20 Pro will cost around Rs. 25,000. Realme X is the closest competitor to Redmi K20 at the price of Rs. 18,000, which will be launching a few days before the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
